My Town Friday Photo Shoot Out: Skylines

I couldn't resist doing a last post before vacation, especially after Linda's kind comment on my last MTFPSO post. I could have taken photos of the buildings in Juneau against the sky, but why? They're so ugly! And the reason they're ugly (in my opinion) is because people tend not to look at them anyways; they're always looking at the skylines of nature. So here you go!

Oh, that second photo took me away - out of my kitchen and into a wide open space, fresh air smells and cool breezes.

I like the last photo the best. Is that Kip looking forward to his vacation in Mexico with you?

Thanks for your comments, everyone!!! They ALWAYS make my week :)

GingerV--Juneau is far enough south that we don't have continuous darkness like Barrow or Nome. At the moment, the sun is rising just above the mountains around 9am, skirting the horizon, and setting around 3pm. It's interesting and I'm sure I'll be posting soon about it.

Barry--Hehe, that is Kip but I have the feeling he was thinking something more to the effect of "Beef jerky when we rest...yum!" than "Mexican vacation!"

I'm excited to post a new shoot-out on Friday!
